Marriage Counseling with Dr. Stefanie Mazer, Psy.D. RMHCI, can not accept insurance, at this time. The rate is $175 per session.
How do I log into my patient portal to complete intake paperwork?
For access to the patient portal (existing patients only) use the following link:
https://www.therapyportal.com/p/serenetrails/
To login for the first time use the patients name and birthdate. If any problems arise or you need your password reset please email brittany@serenetrailstherapy.com or text Brittany at 561-335-6658.
Do you accept out-of network insurance?
This depends on your insurance company. Most insurance plans do pay a percentage back to you for therapeutic services. Please check with your insurance company and inquire the following questions:
- Do I have out of network benefits for outpatient therapy/ mental health services?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
If your insurance company provides out-of network benefits I am able to provide you with a document which you in turn submit to your insurance company.
What forms of payment are accepted?

What is the cost of a therapy session?
The standard rate is $120/hr for an individual therapy session.
Marriage counseling with Dr. Stefanie Mazer, Psy.D. is $175 per session.
If you are using insurance, each plan is different and it is the patient's responsibility to be aware of your individual benefits. Questions to ask your insurance company may include:
- Do I have a copay? If so, how much per therapy session?
- Do I have a deductible to meet? If so, is there an amount I must meet before coverage kicks in?
Are there any discounts offered?
A reduced fee is offered on a limited basis. Please call for more information.
How long does a session last?
A typical therapy session lasts 45-60 minutes.

What is therapy like with a young child?
It is common to not understand how therapy can help infants and young children. I am here to let you know that it is very much possible, with your help. When a child is 3 or under all sessions will be conducted with the caregiver and the child. This is done to provide the parent with support and is facilitated with the intervention Child Parent Psychotherapy. Click the link below for more information.
Where are you located?
The main office is located inside of the Nexus Building off of Lake Worth Road and the Florida Turnpike. The building is the one furthest east, and the suite is on the second floor. The specific suite is 210 and shares a waiting room with The Psychological Wellness Center.
What precautions are being taken for COVID-19?
It is imperative that we take precautions to keep our staff and our clients safe. Currently our office building is not accepting walk-ins and you must have an appointment. The individual therapy office is cleaned between clients and some toys and items have been removed if they are unable to be properly sanitized.
